Answers to the Production Designer and Art Director aiding in:

  • Research on era, region, styles, etc. as indicated by script
  • Breakdowns of script elements (written and implied)
  • Daily Hot Cost Tracking of labor force and materials and goods acquired.
    (Cost Reporting to Designer, Accountant, Unit Production Manager, etc.)
  • Budgeting with each department head for which we are responsible.

  • Oversees approval process, cataloging and distribution of design elements(in many formats) generated by our departments
  • Sources specialty products and materials needed to manufacture and dress sets
