SL Fashion Events
The ladies of IcaruS love the fashion events in SL – some are fundraisers, others not, and some are simply good fun. Here, we list a few that are major or frequently held events.
- Fashion for Life, 10 March – 20 March
Known in past years as the RFL Clothing Fair, Fashion for Life is billed as “A Shopping Event to Fight Cancer” and features an impressive array of participating inworld fashion designers. 100% of sales from this event go directly to the American Cancer Society. Visit Fashion for Life 2012. - March Mesh Madness 2012, 1 March – 15 March
This event will host as many designers and their creations as will fit on one sim – it’s meant to show off the potential of mesh on the grid. You’ll need a mesh capable viewer to really enjoy this event! - SL Hunts
This site contains lists of current and upcoming grid-wide, sim-wide and in-store hunts in Second Life. Designers can register for the hunts through this site. For SL residents, a hunt is a fun and sometimes challenging way to discover great new shops for their fashion needs. Many hunt organisers also have groups for hunters to oin to stay informed and/or get help when stuck.
