=I= Monaco Triton Wall Clock

Congratulations! You are one who has a true appreciation for refined design with a twist. A status symbol at home in the most up-to-date atmospheres, it is both elegant furniture piece and efficient machine.

=I= Monaco Triton Wall ClockYour clock displays three time zones; date and iconic symbols for AM/PM; fully controllable gentle background ticking and quarter-hourly or hourly chimes to add a comfortable aural ambience to the room. The lustrous ebonized wood finish of the cabinet serves as a striking contrast to brass and steel accents. Powerful, efficient scripting ensures all hands and dials are fully functional.  Even more remarkable is the unique auto-positioning gridiron pendulum.

You can customise various features of your Wall Clock by using commands in local chat or with the enclosed configuration base station.

There are two colour schemes for the clock face: a subtle silver/steel on black or a striking gold/brass on black. Clicking the round button at the center of the clock face will toggle between colour schemes.

Owner set-up is designed for ease. Simply follow the setup instructions in the Quick Start section below.

IcaruS naturally also offers control options via chat channel and configuration base.

Local Chat Command Options:

  • DST – set forward, set back, set off
  • Offsets (Time Zones) – up to 3 time zones
  • Timergap (Time Synchronisation) – how often clock times are synchronised
  • Volume – set the volume level of the clock chime
  • Volumetick – set the volume level of the clock’s ticking sound
  • Chime – set chimes to sound hourly, quarter-hourly, or not at all

Longcase Colour Scheme - Gold/Brass Longcase Colour Scheme - Silver/Steel

* When your =I= Monaco Triton Wall Clock initialises, the three clock faces will automatically synchronize to GMT (main clock face), EST (right small face) and SLT/PST (left small face). The Day/Night Dial, Weekday Dial and Date Dial are controlled by the main face of the clock, all in one click. The other two faces are controlled independently for accurate, simultaneous, three-time-zone display.

Chat commands offer a greater range of control.

The quickest way to set up your clock is to first type what your DST is in local chat. For example:

/101 dst 1

Where DST adjusts for Daylight Savings/Summer Time:

  • /101 dst 1
  • /101 dst -1
  • Default is 0

Then set your main dial for the time zone you want (see below). For example:

/101 offset1 -5

Then you can set the other two time zones in a similar fashion.

All Chat Commands follow this syntax:

/101 command value

(Where slash/ is the trigger and one-zero-one 101 is the command channel. Lower case and correct spacing are required.)

All IcaruS Chat Commands operate on Channel /101

To Set Clock Hands:

  • /101 offset1 0
  • /101 offset2 -5
  • /101 offset3 -8

Offset1 is the main dial, offset2 is the right small dial, offset3 is the left small dial. The offsets are hours from GMT.

/101 offset1 –5

(where offset1 is Main Dial, -5 is time offset – Eastern Standard Time)

NOTE: Offset1 also sets Sun/Moon Dial, Weekday Dial and Date Dial

/101 offset2 8

(where offset2 is the Right Small Dial, 8 is time offset value – China, in this case), or

/101 offset3 -8

(where offset3 is the Left Small Dial, -8 is time offset value – Pacific Time, in this case)

Default settings: offset2 –5 (EST), offset3 –8(PST/SLT)

Helpful Guide to Determining Offsets

For your reference, we offer a short list of examples of offset times:

  • GMT –8   (04:00) Pacific Time  – Los Angeles, California, US
  • GMT –7   (05:00) Mountain Time – Edmonton, Alberta, CAN
  • GMT –6   (06:00) Central Time  – New Orleans, Louisiana, US
  • GMT –5   (07:00) Eastern Time  – New York City, NY, US
  • GMT        (12:00) London, UK
  • GMT +1   (13:00) Paris, FRA
  • GMT +7   (19:00) Jakarta, Indonesia
  • GMT +8   (20:00) China (Yes, ALL of it!)
  • GMT +9   (21:00) Seoul, Korea
  • GMT +10 (22:00) Sydney, Australia

Naturally all +/- 1 to allow for Daylight/Summer Time offsets.

And a few links for time geeks:

To Change Synchronization Timing:

/101 timergap 60
(where timergap = 1 is every second, timergap = 60 is once a minute – lower lag)

/101 timergap 5
Default is 5

To Change Volume of Tick-Tock:

/101 volumetick 0.5
values 1.0 to 0.0, default is 1.0

NOTE: The pendulum does stop twirling when you change volumes; simply click it to start it twirling again.

To Change Chimes On or Off:

/101 chime1 1
/101 chime2 0

(Chime1 is Hourly, chime2 is Quarterly Chime Sequence, and 1=On,  0=Off)

To set Chime volume:
(Where 1.0 = Full,  0.1 = Quiet)

/101 volume 0.5
Default is 1.0

The Configuration Base

Edit your settings with the Configuration Base Included with the clock is an =IcaruS= Base Station which contains a configuration notecard for you to amend to set up your own personal default settings. It may be copied and saved with multiple configurations if you wish.
Editing the Configuration Card NOTE: Changing these settings in the configuration card will change all your IcaruS watches and clocks within range. The command format is similar to the chat commands; further detail is shown on the configuration notecard itself.

Additional Notes:
Manually clicking the clock faces offsets the time of the hour hand from Greenwich Mean Time by -1 hour each with each click (up to –12 hours). To change hours to positive values (ahead of GMT), type on Channel 101 in Local Chat.

Moving the clock:
It is advisable to stop the pendulum first (by clicking it), then keep clock upright and move in the usual way (the pendulum will not move with it). When ready, click the clock pedestal base and it will get and position the pendulum.

If for any reason the pendulum does go wrong, simply click the clock base to reposition the pendulum. The clock has a range of 10 meters in finding the pendulum; if you move the clock out of this range, the pendulum will need moving closer.

If you have more than one clock, either keep them out of range from each other or move the pendulum manually, as the clock will grab all pendulums in the area when body base is clicked.
